For Art Basel's Online Viewing Room, A Gentil Carioca and the artist Vivian Caccuri present "Ode to Triangle", a project designed in partnership from the artist research.
We will present a selection of works based on an approximation of concepts that intersect triangles, trinities, and triads, thus forming a coexistence of contrasting subjects, which at the same time offers to art a space to witness the power of geometry in synthesizing human feelings. Not only formalism and geometry will be presented, but also a delicate balance that brings historical and geopolitical facts like the history around the "Atlantic Triangle" - a cross-trade between America, Africa, and Europe for more than 300 years - that led to intense exchanges between religions, languages, technologies and the art
