In December 2009 OPAVIVARÁ! was invited to hold an exhibition at Galeria Toulouse, in Gávea. We articulated a campaign in favor of street vendors in the city, the focus of the actions of the “photochoque” of order that insist on organizing the city from top to bottom. A contamination of the asepsis of the shopping center where the gallery is located was proposed, with a print run of 8,000 cards with images of street vendors on Ipanema beach, in addition to triple chairs, a gallon of mate and the sound project Banda de Areia, which was transferred to the gallery the soundscape of the waterfront before the City Hall cleanup. During the exhibition, which ran from December 15th to January 15th, a collective action was carried out on the beach, taking the group's potential and campaign outside the gallery as well. Of the sale of postcards, a third is destined to the street vendors themselves, bringing a certain informality to the sale of works.
