Este trabalho faz parte da série "Alegórico Sentimental", em que Edmilson traça ações estéticas diretamente ligadas ao imaginário festivo Brasileiro, como o carnaval e as celebrações religiosas. Partem de sua vivência dentro dos barracões das escolas de samba do Rio de Janeiro e dos festejos religiosos de sua cidade natal, Campos dos Goytacazes, como a festa de Santo Amaro.

This work is part of the "Sentimental Allegorical" series, in which Edmilson outlines aesthetic actions directly linked to the Brazilian festive imagination, such as carnival and religious celebrations. They depart from his experience inside the barracks of the samba schools in Rio de Janeiro and the religious celebrations of his hometown, Campos dos Goytacazes, such as the Santo Amaro festival.
