When I filled the balloon with the smoke from the flares, I watched it slowly dissipate. Looking at it makes me think about the change in the original state of this object, the images I know and my family memories. The balloon and the flares are objects present in my audiovisual practice, but at this moment, my interest in the expanded field proposed another use for this material. The friction with the usual purpose of this equipment proposes encounters that happen outside the camera's viewfinder.
