[The cicada spends most of its life underground, feeding on the sap of roots, then climbs the treetops and sings its mating song. She then lays her eggs, which will hatch into new insects resuming the cycle that started beneath the soil. With this work, I tried to synthesize the cycles of life and death proposed in the exhibition.]
