Na série Treco, troço e coisa, trabalhei com o estranhamento que existe nas formas não objetivas. Para isso, utilizei cadeiras entrelaçadas por oito metros de tecido, onde o mesmo foi passado por várias partes da estrutura de madeira, dando organicidade a formas que eram até então fixas. Acredito que a expressão do objeto está na relação da estrutura da cadeira e do tecido que se estende em seu corpo. A utilidade do objeto o aprisionava em sua existência. O gesto de criação deu vida a ele, inutilidade. Agora que ele não precisa mais ser, ele pode ser alguma coisa, um troço, um treco. O trabalho fala sobre o meu interesse em deslocar os objetos de suas utilidades e significâncias, levando para estado de ‘’coisa’’, comumente chamado de arte. Me interessa a perda da referência do que era e a tomada de algo que é novo, não objetivo, sem funcionalidade.
In the series Treco, troço e coisa, I worked with the strangeness that exists in non-objective forms, for that I used chairs intertwined by eight meters of fabric, where the same was passed through various parts of the wooden structure, giving organicity to forms that were fixed until then. I believe that the expression of the object is in the relationship between the structure of the chair and the fabric that extends over its body. The utility of the object imprisoned it in its existence. The gesture of creation gave life to it, uselessness. Now that it no longer needs to be something, it can be anything, a thing, a whatsit. The work speaks about my interest in dislocating objects from their utilities and significance, taking them to the state of a "thing", commonly called art. I am interested in the loss of reference of what it was and the taking of something that is new, not objective, without functionality.
