Dentro da Umbanda, religiosidade que sincretiza os elementos dos cultos africanos com a dos santos católicos, com as tradições indígenas, além do espiritismo kardecista, encontramos o Cruzeiro das Almas. Aqui estabeleço uma relação entre o ponto do Cruzeiro, que faz a passagem das almas, com os territórios sincréticos subjetivos do sul do mundo, evocando desfechos que trazem alívio para as almas dos mortos e dos vivos, descendentes dos socialmente marginalizados e sob constante etnocídio.

In Umbanda, a religious syncretism of the elements of the African rites with those of Catholic saints, indigenous traditions and Kardecist spiritism, we find the Cruzeiro das Almas (Cross of Souls). Here I establish a relationship between the ponto do Cruzeiro (point of the cross), which makes the passage of souls, with the subjective syncretic territories of the south of the world, evoking outcomes that bring relief to the souls of the dead and the living descendants of those socially marginalized and under constant ethnocide.
