Darks proposes to show versions of the Brazilian and gringo, feminine and drag, fetishist and fruitful imaginary, sadness disguised with joy and vice versa. With reference to the inaugural fruit woman Carmen Miranda, Darks ventures into mass culture, passing through the almost forgotten lambada imagery, the fruit women of the 2000s and flirtation with postpornography and animism. For this, she makes use of various media and formats, such as videos, magazines, photographs, street posters, performance, objects and installations. The different works contaminate and complete themselves, creating a universe of their own.
