“The Solar Messages series is about the child that is made with the rising of the sun. In everyday, playful and ludic positions, both children carry messages about their mother in their clothes. The child wears the mask from the "La diablada" dance, which evokes the Andean cosmovision and relates to the present-past-future. The materiality of the work intimately dialogues with the relationship between the child and the sun, poetically bringing the worth of its existence.”
