A Gentil Carioca invites you to the opening of Hemisfério 1, a solo exhibition by Arjan Martins.

In the show of new works, Arjan investigates historic racial issues, working for art and also using it as a subsidy. In his paintings, he portrays bodies that suggest the visualization of mixed races, indigenous and black people - reinforcing the reflection on these matters, while avoiding sectarian remnants.
