“Abre Caminho” é uma das ervas mais utilizadas em rituais da Umbanda, e é também conhecida popularmente como Abre-Portas ou Cipó Abre-tudo. Essa planta possui um poder energético muito forte que levanta o astral quando utilizada em defumações ou composição de banhos. A Samambaia Abre-Caminho está relacionada energeticamente com três orixás da Umbanda: Oxóssi, Iansã e Ogum, os quais representam respectivamente o conhecimento, o movimento e o direcionamento. O carro Abre Caminho é o abre alas movido à tração humana, com quatro baldes e chuveiros que inundam as esquinas com banhos de ervas prenhes da sabedoria ancestral dos pajés e curandeiros.

"Abre Caminho" is one of the most commonly used herbs in Umbanda rituals, and is also popularly known as Abre-Portas (Doors Opener) or Abre-tudo (Open-all). This plant has a very strong energetic power that raises the astral when used in smoking or bath composition.
