The work “dust to dust” is made up of matchboxes exposed on structures of street vendors with retractable feet. The sets are carved in wood from Brazilian biomes, such as braúna, cedar, brazilwood, which includes each matchstick contained in the boxes. The title, evoking the presence of fire, proposes to reflect on the relationship that exists between time and the matter that constitutes beginnings and ends.
