A obra consiste em uma instalação de vídeo em dois canais, onde podemos reconhecer nas imagens que se trata de uma visita ao interior de um corpo humano. Um dos canais é a gravação de uma endoscopia realizada pela artista, exame no qual uma câmera adentra pela boca percorrendo laringe e faringe até chegar ao estômago. O segundo canal de vídeo trata-se de uma histeroscopia, exame também realizado no corpo da artista, onde uma câmera entra pelo canal vaginal, atravessa o cérvix e chega ao útero, onde é possível visualizar as trompas direta e esquerda além da cicatriz interna de uma cesariana. Nessa obra Aleta leva ao extremo sua prática de auto-representação, tencionando a relação entre corpo, imagem e consumo e chega em um ápice da exploração da imagem de si. Com o título da obra, a artista faz uma referência direta a pornografia, “Cam Girl” revela as vísceras de tal sistema.

The work is a video installation in two channels, where we can recognize in the images a visit to the interior of a human body. One of the channels is the recording of an endoscopy made by the artist, an examination in which a camera enters the mouth through the larynx and pharynx until it reaches the stomach. The second video channel is a hysteroscopy, an examination also made on the artist's body, where a camera enters the vaginal canal, crosses the cervix and reaches the uterus, where it is possible to see the left and right tubes in addition to the internal scar of a cesarean section. In this work, Aleta takes her self-representation practice to the extreme, stretching the relationship between body, image and consumption to reaches a peak of exploration of the image of herself. With the title of the work, the artist makes a direct reference to pornography, "Cam Girl" reveals the insides of such system.
