Art Basel Miami Beach

To Art Basel Miami Beach 2021, A Gentil Carioca presented works by the following artists:
Agrade Camíz, Aleta Valente, Ana Linnemann, Arjan Martins, Jarbas Lopes, João Modé, José Bento, Laura Lima, Marcela Cantuária, Maxwell Alexandre, Maria Nepomuceno, OPAVIVARÁ!, Rodrigo Torres, Vinicius Gerheim and Vivian Caccuri. With the goal of reinforcing the global South relations, our booth will be held in partnership with the South African gallery Goodman Gallery.

A Gentil Carioca is also present at the Meridians Sector with a large scale work by Maxwell Alexandre from the series New Power - a spin off of Pardo é Papel, made to explore the idea of the black community within the established temples for art contemplation: galleries, museums and fairs.
