A pintura Tropa se baseia numa pré-figuração de um futuro distópico. Se vê em formação um exército de robôs “femininos” dentro de uma biblioteca em ruínas, índice da própria cultura...A pintura Tropa se baseia numa pré-figuração de um futuro distópico. Se vê em formação um exército de robôs “femininos” dentro de uma biblioteca em ruínas, índice da própria cultura e da natureza que cresce selvagem em comunhão com os livros. Ao pé da tropa, figura no tapete a imagem de Lenin e fuzis, identificando a formação como possíveis trabalhadoras do futuro. A ideia de robôs femininos parte da superação da maternidade, usando da pós-humanidade para descartar a função biológica das mulheres “cis”.
The painting Tropa is based on a pre-figuration of a dystopian future. An army of “female” robots is being formed in a ruined library, an index of culture and nature that grows wild in communion with books. At the foot of the troop, the image of Lenin and rifles appears on the carpet, identifying the formation as possible workers of the future. The idea of female robots starts with overcoming motherhood, using posthumanity to discard the biological function of ‘cis’ women. -
