Esculturas que se assemelham às línguas apresentam diversidade em tamanho, quantidade e comportamento, aparecendo como peças únicas ou em conjunto. A instalação se trata de uma composição contendo trinta e oito pequenas línguas, formando uma espécie de painel que ocupa a parede. Elas sugerem uma movimentação contínua - tal como a linguagem - como se estivessem emergindo da parede.

[Investigating image representations that convey bodily sensations, the Protolinguagem series plays with the intensity of our perceptions, exploring direct communication through ambiguous forms. Sculptures that resemble tongues vary in size, quantity and behaviour, appearing as single pieces or as a set. The installation is a composition containing thirty-eight small tongues, forming a kind of panel that occupies the wall. They suggest continuous movement - just like language - as if they were emerging from the wall."]
