Acer Peixe is a radio wave receiving antenna created from the fractal shape found in the maple leaf. This tree, found in eastern Germany, is considered an "intruder". Its fish shape refers to Yemanjá, mother of the fishes, and being a fish Acer Peixe swims. It swims through river bends and meanders, creating a geography that crosses territorial boundaries. The "invasion" is a destination for her, where her life flows, and is beyond the reach of any control. Work produced during the Radio Art Residency in Weimar, Germany.
