As Pinturas-dado fazem parte do projeto Exposição de galeria, que vai examinar formatos comuns ao universo das galerias: pinturas e desenhos, porém numa condição de dissidência. São pinturas, mas nem tanto assim e desenhos, mas nem tanto assim. Poderia-se dizer que são esculturas cujo material é a pintura, e objetos cujo material é o desenho.
As Pinturas-dado são o mais recente acréscimo ao projeto, atualmente formado pelas Pinturas-alvo, as Pinturas-sem-saida, as Molduras Inconformadas e uma máquina de chutar paredes chamada O Artista.

The Dice-paintings are part of the Exposição de galeria project (‘Gallery Exhibition project’), which will examine formats that are common to the universe of galleries: paintings and drawings, but in a dissident condition. They are paintings, but not quite, and drawings, but not quite. One could say that they’re sculptures made of paintings, and objects made of drawings.

The Dice-paintings are the latest addition to the project, currently made up of Target-paintings, Dead End-paintings, Nonconforming Frames, and a wall-kicking machine called The Artist.
