Born in 1992 in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Vinicius Gerheim is an artist whose production touches on intersections between sexuality and faith, in the field of children's memory and its multiform narratives. In his works, he materializes images arising from the desire to transform lost sensations into languages. For him, being an LGBTQIAP+ person allowed him, from the beginning, to rethink standards, norms and codes that limited his body. It is through painting that he amplifies his sensitivity, remodeling codes and becoming enchanted by things that have not been translated.
