"Passei a observar a dureza do ferro quando comecei com as grades e normalmente, na minha criação, gosto de alinhar as minhas histórias, o meu jeito com o objeto, com o desenho, com a pintura, nesse caso, com a matéria. O metalon é uma estrutura feita de um material composto por ferro chumbado, um tipo de metal que precisa de muito calor, do quente, do fogo para se tornar maleável e é nesse lugar que o ferro e eu nos encontramos, me afeiçoei pela matéria. A série dos Blocos é o meu primeiro contato com a manipulação desse metal. Em 2019, iniciei esse estudo e essa história que teve sua estréia na minha individual Habitacional, em 2020, onde relaciono esses blocos em série com os blocos dos conjuntos habitacionais que morei. O primeiro se chamou se chamou Bloco 4, pois era a numeração do bloco onde eu morava, depois vieram o 1 e 2 - como nos predinhos de subúrbio, eles são inúmeros, múltiplos." - Agrade Camiz
