MATIAS MESQUITA / O que pesa mais?, apr – jul 2013
Clouds exist in the emptiness that is material.
It’s difficult to say “a cloud”.
Something is always becoming a cloud … No longer being a cloud … Being confused with that which is not a cloud …
Never ceasing to be a cloud.
Expanding and shrinking. Converging, condensing, decanting: raining.
The image-cloud on the concrete – that – is not – cloud. The solid form of energy we invented to make the world the image-shadow of what we are, when we do not want to be that which has no limits. Unlike the cloud, which we only possess as an image, the concrete needs us to exist. The more it wants to exist, the more fragile it becomes.
But at the end, what is unstable and what is fixed? What changes and what remains?
And what weights more?
