OPAVIVARÁ! Art collective, b. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2005). Since its creation this collective has been participating actively in the contemporary Brazilian art scene. Their experiences seek to shift all participants from their institutional roles (artist, author, critic, curator, gallery owner, public, spectator, etc) transporting them to an atmosphere of experimental and poetic relations. Their actions aspire to generate artistic fluxes at the sites involved, in which the public is not only appealed to interact with the work, but to be a fundamental agent of the execution of the work itself. The group’s purpose is to alter the perceptive and political order regarding the universe of relations, unpacking a reflective questioning about the quotidian experience.
